The purpose is to provide single occupency transitioning from a correctional institution setting or an unsafe
community to a more stable and free civilian state of living for people with HIV and Hepatitis C, and drug addiction or alternative
lifestyle. This is an opportunity to transition back into what is considered a normal acceptable living environment.
Our quality setting will be adequately conducive for addressing the housing, treatment, and medical care requirements that
allow for a smooth readjustment for all walks of life.
Mission Statement
To create and extend links for individuals who have HIV/AIDS and
or Hepatitis C, and who are being reintegrated back into the community, with the focus on re-education
and the redevelopment of empowering skills.
By networking with various community institutions, we will provide programs and training
designed to meet the specific needs of these individuals, while at the same time providing them with safe and affordable housing.
HOPE AND STRENGTH believes that, if given the opportunity, support, and training,
these individuals will be able to achieve their full human potential.
HOPE AND STRENGTH will offer its services to single men and women (but not exclude
family units) who have been seperated from their communities, and who also do not have the education or training to become
self-sufficient. The services offered would provide counseling, empowerment training, transitional housing, assistance
and medical programs, and spiritual guidance (when appropriate). Our belief is every individual has a power within for
a positive productive life.
